What is Mossflower?
Redwall Tabletop
Mossflower is a fan product that has evolved for two decades. It is a quintessential role-playing game system for the Redwall setting, a medieval heroic fantasy of anthropomorphic woodland creatures fighting to live in peace.
Epic Journeys
The heroes of Mossflower travel great distances to right the wrongs of their homeland. The vast wilderness itself is a foe, imposing hunger, thirst, and exposure to the unfortunate as the terrain and weather offer only limited respite.
Fierce Battles
Compared to other heroic fantasy role-playing experiences, battles in Mossflower are fewer, but more intense. Characters engage in risky tactical combat which rewards positioning, teamwork, and knowledge of the game's mechanics.
Wholesome Heroics
In accord with the rich coziness of the setting, Mossflower includes systems for cooking and enjoying meals together as well as for working together on downtime projects. A character who brings friends together over a good meal and a gripping tale can be just as appreciated as a mighty warrior.
